Stab & Fleisch
iPhone-Video, Sound, Colour, 15:41 Min., 2015
As punishment the demigod-twins Stab and Fleisch (engl. Stick and Flesh) are put into an infinite loop of self-reference. Selfie-sticks function as tools of ultimate observation. Exposure to the constant self-documentation provokes an absurd dialogue. Feelings of frustration alternate with enjoyment and reflexion. In cyclic repetition the protagonists question their situation and the liquidation of their selves. They address their transformation into images and debate power structures between protagonist and observer.
